I've tried numerous products (cellulose, mineral wool, fibreglass, rigid foam) and spray foam is by far the best for both insulating and reducing rodent access.The caveat is that you need to get someone with exceptional workmanship and knowledge. You get what you pay for and if you go for the lowest price your risk of problems raises exponentially.For example, we work in the VOC air quality sector, so we set up VOC monitors after Stefan's team completed two separate projects in a residential application. We vented the space and closed it overnight. We did not register any VOC's on the instrumentation over the first 24 hour period inside the residence (or for a subsequent 48 hour monitoring period).Spray foam with experience that provides zero emissions for the application.Stefan has the knowledge and expertise. He is the only service provider we will use given the exceptional success and track record on multiple jobs.
